Heli Hike Fox Glacier

Doubtful Sound Wilderness Cruise Fiordland

Doubtful Sound is a place of towering peaks and bush-clad islands, of twisting, hidden arms and sheltered coves. In Maori legend, Tu Te Raki Whanoa created this fiord not alone, but with the assistance of four young sea gods who carved out its sheltered arms. You can fee the power of nature here - the wildness, the remoteness, the peace.
Begin with a cruise across the crystal clear waters of Lake Manapouri. Then travel by coach over Wilmot Pass, stopping along the way to view some of Fiordland's most dense rainforest and to view Doubtful Sound far below. On reaching Deep Cove, board the Patea Explorer catamaran for a three hour cruise, taking in the most stunning scenery of Doubtful Sound. Bottlenose dolphins are frequently seen and at times rare penguins. The Tour ends with a visit to the Manapouri Underground Power Station.

Cape Reinga Fly/Drive Tour

Salt Air's 'Cape Reinga Fly/Drive' product is an all inclusive tour and a great way to experience the top of Northland New Zealand.
Depart Kerikeri in a modern aircraft where each passenger has a window seat. Friendly pilots chat along the way about local history and points of interest. Fly up the west coast with low level views of 90 mile beach. On landing, switch to a comfortable vehicle for a 2.5 hr guided tour exploring the top of New Zealand including Cape Reinga lighthouse and Te Paki Sand Dunes (sleds available for 'sand surfing'!). Fly back down Northland's east coast which is visible only by air or sea. Total tour time is 4.5hrs.
